Tonight eight was an ugly number.
Always wanting more, I never have it.
Now I do.

It was a nice feeling, until I had it.

I became numb while my head flew else where,
over harvested fields,
it felt the summer night enter it
and now my body could feel what the head did.

On a crash course towards each other,
they collided on the bedroom floor and fell in love.
They lay there for an hour,
unknown of being awake or asleep,
before removing themselves and repeating the journey.

Pop, pop, pop.
It wasn't quite the same.
So we will wait a couple of days to travel again. Maybe.
