To my daughter, I wish for you
The happiest birthday that can come true
I love you dearly and always will
Like the first time I held you in my arms
It was such a thrill
I held and rocked you
You would smile so sweet
Sometimes you would frown
I loved holding you
It was hard to put you down
Today I love you so much more
Maybe because there's so much more
For me to adore.
