THE CHARM OF WEAKNESS
I saw my father walking in the street.
I viewed in him a person not so strong.
I loved him much, so much more than before
When l saw him the power of my home.

How dear a mother finds her new born babe,
so small and weak and he has none but her.
With extreme softness she gives him her breast
and with her milk she would offer her life.

What are you weakness, but a mighty spell
that makes a kitten have such great esteem?
One saves it and forgets to save himself
and feels quite satisfied despite his pain.

What makes you, mum, the first of those we love
except the weakness that your kids adore?
You mix it with the love that makes your house
turn round your sphere and leave that of great strength.
