Can you help me?
Daddy left last night.
Mommy says he died.
She was crying in the middle of the night.
Woke both my brother and I up.
Can you help me?
I ran to wake the next door neighbors.
In my pajamas.
Why didn't anybody answer?
Nobody came to the doors.
Is anybody there?
The shrieking of the sirens is coming closer.
"Mommy? Why Isn't Daddy waking up?"
There's no answer.
The sirens are getting louder.
Waking the sleeping neighbors up.
Heart pounding, blood rushing.
Can't.
Move.
Nobody's listening.

Daddy is still lying on the bed.

Not moving.

Somebody help!
                                                                                                                                   *......please

                                                                    Daddy wake up!
Don't leave us...

                                  *......please Daddy
