I feel the need and want to go home. To hear your familiar voice everyday. Awakening every morning with you by my side. Listening for the clues that you are awake to greet you with a kiss. I want to awaken to see those amazing hazel eyes staring back at me. My hands and arms long to pull you in close. As I inhale, I long to breath in your essence. To be home, to know we are safe and sound, enjoying each other. My ears intently listening for your laughter as I talk in my most southern voice. I long for the familiarity of home, your warmth, your love, your wit, your presence. I know its just days away. But I'm saying I'm missing you, my home.

Dedicated to my love, my Special K
