It's a warm cloudy day and I'm missing the weather like it used to be in the winters. Bound to it are our memories, of pink and blue, some scissors and glue, the malaria and flu and many more.
But I think of what you told me, to imagine something. Something too nice to scare away the untamed negativity. So I made up a short story.
I lay on my bed, with injured hand and legs. I do not talk to anyone around me, and was unable to eat the food. Had refused to each one offering to feed me, as my right hand was immobilized.
But then you came. Silently. It's 00.26. My stomach is growling. And then I hear you calling. I jolt upwards in the bed. And here you are. Sitting by the side which I always keep reserved for your spirit to reside. You sit with the plate of delicious sandwiches, but the most sweet thing is your smile, your happiness and your care. Tears are rolling down my face as you slowly down my head to your shoulder and then hand me the sandwich (tasty food can be eaten using left hand too). I eat it up quickly. So that I can preserve all the moments with my soulmate.
But then I suddenly feel sleepy, too sleepy in your warm embrace and within moments I drift into a dreamless, silent serene sleep, which I haven't had in my life.
I wake up next morning, unable to recall the exact happening.
But, I feel the happiness on my face.
And then
I already know that you were with me.
