Unknown Existence

The fear of the unknown has settled down on me
My mind and soul both aching
Reaching out to find peace and contentment
As I looked back, the memories scattered

Messes, failures, and joys come back to life
Questioning the existence, I have in this shattered world
I can feel the numbness that scared the hell out of me
Lingering into the darkness that surrounds beneath

Stepping into the unknown is inevitable
Tormented in the pitiful eyes of the lost souls
Today, as we gather in this holy place
I lift my strength and continue to chase the game
