Dear foster rather of Jesus,
The spouse of our Blessed Mother,
Give to us your fatherly care,
Show us how to treat each other.

From St. Joseph, foster father,
Of God's only begotten Son,
Jesus had learned good examples,
And skills the way they should be done.

St. Joseph had taught Jesus Christ,
How to live a virtuous life;
He taught Jesus to be loving,
In good times, and in times of strife.

Wisdom, St. Joseph to us give,
And show us how we are to live.
