Domesticated
Castrated
A Curious animal wandered the farm
Sacrificing limb to his Masters
To protect him from harm

They dined on his legs
He'd crawl from the barn to see the sky
Looking out on the horizon
Until they took his eyes

Now blind
He'd crawl out to feel the breeze
And smell the fragrances it carried
Till his head brushed up against the wood of the fence
The only thing keeping him confined

Without ears, all you hear is your heartbeat
Sniffing around for freedom
While the dog enjoys a new treat

They took his skin
But a will still remained
All the time in the world
But he couldn't identify a day
Immobile
Hollow sockets pointed upwards
Still dreaming
The sky
The horizon
Fading flesh
An Empty mind
A heart unbroken

Feast on this dream
