I know you’re speaking to me
Why am I so deaf
That I cannot hear you

I know you are drawing me
In my times of loneliness
But I cannot see it

I know your love surrounds me
And though it is tangible
I cannot even touch it

I know your presence is perfumed
Lingering gently ever so gently
Although I cannot smell it

I know your goodness is sure
An continual and dependable help
Yet I cannot taste it

Faith transcends all of our  senses
Distrusting them is absolute key
To walk in total victory
