She’s a vehement wind that blows to protest
To protest against life that she enters with zest
To protest against rules
To protest against men
She’s a reckless soul, age of ten

What she doesn’t know now is that by sixteen
She would lose her air thought to be evergreen
As most of the ten-year-olds do
when their passions are subdued by social taboo.
