Down here where the hot dark blows,
On knees in streaming avenues
Bend to me and yielding know
The pleasure of this having you.

Give up your fear, rise up and stand
And turn your face in shadowed shame.
When love has gone far as love can,
Leave me there. Sell me your name.

Rise up sweet naked press to me
On knees 'neath the hammers surrender doubt.
The twisting surge of destiny
Has pushed you here. Has found you out.
