A friend
Remember how we met?
Neither do I.
I
do
remember:
long nights, hugs, pretend fights,
and the way I feel when you cry.
Remember how many times
I vowed to never speak to you again?
Neither do I.
If I had to guess-
I'd guess countless.
I
do
remember the
exact
moment
I knew I could never forget you.
