EXPECTATIONS AND JOY
When we were kids, it was great joy
to fly to mother's maiden house.
It was a flight so far from home.
That journey filled our life with cheer.

We waited for that day to come
and dreamed of things that we would do.
The closer we got to that date,
the more delightful was our dream.

Each man on earth will have a trip
from earth to afterlife above.
What do we feel towards that flight?
Is it a trip full of delight?

What can we say about the time
that will precede the coming day?
Do people who have saintly faith
live the same worry of the rest?
