Untitled 659
Feel the frozen fog,
frosty limbs
collapsing in,
buckling under
winter’s weight.
See the icy road
that sealed
some stranger’s fate.
not slowing down,
but slipping through,
a two-car pile up
that bystanders view.
The cold conclusion,
to a long year of losing.
Another body down,
settled in the hard ground.
