Lies, lies, lies.
These days lies look quite like flies,
Like some kind of mini, mean and messy destructive beasts.
Yes.  Lies are flies. They're perchy and *****.
And like lies, flies probably remind us
Of what happens when something is wrong, when something is dead and decaying.
I see a lot of flies these days.
They're even more on social media.
Many, many, many, many of them,
Flying about.
Some are really huge too.
Huge, irritating and poisoning like those green flies in cesspits.
But it seems only a few people seem to care how flies have started living with us, completely normal.
We used to have nets and fliesicides to put them away.
But now, we seem to rear them and have them  live even inside our souls.
So you see them in homes
You see them in offices,
You see them schools,
You could see them more in churches
No matter how clean everyone and everything and everywhere seem to be.
Flies, flies, flies here and there flies, or lies.
It makes you wonder what is
Dead and decaying and smelling around us.
Well, many things are dead
Moral is dead
Faith is dead
Discipline is dead
Godliness is dead
Patience is dead
Conscience  is dead
Tolerance is dead
Love is dead
Dead, dead, dead.
Dead and decaying!
