I am standing there in the street
Screaming at you through the phone
Not putting up with your abuse.

You are right.
I'm a heartless *****.
I am stubborn.
I don't give you a chance to talk.
I am hiding you from my parents.
I do have issues.
But those aren't your problems to point out.

I wont put up with you trying to change me.
I don't claim to be a good girlfriend
In fact I warned you I wasn't
But you thought you could handle it.
That is what you were wrong about.
And I was wrong about you
Thinking you were as lovely as you seemed on the surface
Because it was too good to be true.
This break-up we have just endured
Is for the best.
