Poems
Jan 2021
I always had it in me: learning to learn my type
In Me
I build the rest of the Revolution on a precipice of uniqueness
my purity doesn't exist
neither does yours
But I am still wholly yours
as much as I can be
I shall be more
These are days of the age
And no feeling does break what will not pour
It is held in my print
Written on my palms
I am unmoored
Heart bearing evolutionary wisdom
in every moment
Like a mirror
of the Queen
of Sheba
performing beauty infinity
Infinitely
it remains like a figure on an icebox
shadows around my face
insides squirming
And it feels so good
I just want to dance with you
down an avenue
when my smile feels you close
Thatβs when I knew.
Thatβs when we begin.
