Dear Jesus, do not leave me,
Always remain close to me                
During times of temptation,
How I'm to live, help me see.                  

Help my spirit to be tough,            
As I  try to do God's will,              
Fortitude, Jesus,  give me.
In my heart, your peace instill.

Ask your Mother to help me,
Each day want to be like you;
Help me be meek and humble,
To God, help me to be true.

When life seems like it's hopeless,
So I won't give up, help me;
Help me be optimistic,
And upon me, have mercy.

In life's tough times, dear Jesus,
Gentle, then help me to be;
Help me know what I should do,
So my life will be holy.
