Waiting
Waiting is what I do
I bide my time patiently all for you
My pockets are low on this three hour drive,
Hands at ten and two,
As I head north on interstate 35 to you
Hello goodbye Denton, not my stop
I reach Ardmore, plot and tie my tie in a knot to the top
Flustered's how I feel,
Hands perspire as I grip the wheel
The closer I get to you the faster the blood pumps through
Davis came quicker than I thought it would
Not much longer til' I'm in your 405 neck of the woods
Knots in my stomach as Norman gets near
I see you, I'm here,
I smile ear to ear
