Darling, you are my Morphia
It's a surprising matter!
Seeing his face, all my pains shatter.
I burn and burn,
Instantly south breeze begins its lovely turn.
Hear me, O moon!
His smiling face acts for me as poetic boon.
O gusty wind!
Hear! Whispers through ether my mind!
O agitated brine!
Look! I built on your beach loving shrine.
Darling is like morphia,
Makes me inert, transforms poison into ambrosia.
