Hunger
Heap of ashes that I am
Phrased in terms of burning
I hunger
For your taste
Your smell
The feel of your soul touching mine..
Aimless in this sexless foreplay
I have nibbled so long at the table of the your world
It turned to dust in my hand..
Hunger..
The next sunrise -
Sunset
To touch the one you love
To try again.
To live ..
Her stalking beauty
Her theatre of expressions..
In this moment
The gesture of the amorous
The longing for consummation
All desires are abolished
By the plenitude of their satisfaction....
