Flashing lights:
a car that has never been,
to a place that won’t let me in,
to the heights of a mournful dream

Reddish white:
a face staring,
at the rear-view mirror
See? Crying has never been this ugly
Go have yourself some pity
Why won’t you drive back home and let it be?
Go close your eyes and let it dry
One day, it’ll open
Once more, you’ll try

I’ll be back, I swear
Don’t leave, I’ll find you
