Self-Discovery
Come away with me,
Let’s ride the wind
And surf the waves.
Touch the sun with our fingertips,
Feel the grass ***** our skin.
Let’s go away from this place
That chains us to bodies
That are not our own.
Let’s find ourselves in spots of the sun,
Our skins drinking in the light
Thirsty for the life it gives.
Let’s kiss each star goodnight,
Seeing them as they wink out of sight,
And the sun comes to caress our skin again.
Let’s find ourselves among the fish,
Who swim beneath the ocean surface
Carefree and colorful in their hidden place.
Let’s lose ourselves in the flesh of one another
Lose yourself in me and I in you.
Come away and find yourself with me.
