His face was dull under the dancing light
almost silhouetted by the blackness around him
totally silhouetted by the blackness inside of him

While everyone but me
talked about their drugs
and I talk about fights I've been in
swapping stories of debauchery
he was sitting there sullen
and I joined him in his silence
for these conversations were not quite my type

Lonely kid
