Dec 2020
We stumble like children
Strive greedily to take in as much light and love
Find comfort in the rhythm of the sea
To synchronize with the frequency of the waves.
A coaxing whisper when the wind lips the trees
To make impossible poems from space and silence
Cities  intrude into the distant humming welcoming darkness
Seething with hidden life
A little bit of the sun and moon
Part earth and sea, wind and fire
The surge of grief,
The respite of peace,
Then fear again
And the mystery wraps the earth in waves
This infinite procession of life
