Cockroaches live in my room
Hissing at night
Hiding in the corners and cracks
Always there
But during the day
Still hiding
But forgotten
~

I only have so long before I come home
And those cockroaches are showing themselves more and more,
They are not so forgotten during the day.
Hidding in the the corners and cracks
Quietly hissing
In my ear.
Clouding my thoughts

I try to find them
But they were born to hide
And I am the seeker
And yet I can't seem to find
Those hissing,
Hiding,
Cockroaches.
