Disconnected
We could be one,
together, in unison,
our souls, our beings,
intertwined by sin.
Our spirits synchronized,
our minds mangled,
and tangled together,
so we can be as one.
We could feel each others pain,
and ease it when we need it.
We could be a lovers cane,
and a crutch when needed.
Or we can be nothing,
disconnect and forget.
We can be victims of a lovers quarrel,
hearts trapped in cement.
