It seemed so perfect being so young,
Years went by and mom chose to live another life.
Your loneliness grew into anger,
The alcohol took over who you truly were.
Cigarette smells reminded us of home,
as it perfumed our daily clothes.
I sit here today,
Your ashes sitting in my closet.
My sister is mentally unstable and lost in her mind since you past,
My brother lost in alcohol and doing what you did best,
Cigarette smells on their clothes reminding me of home.
They are just like you Dad.
