MAN AND BIRDS
Little bird, you love your chicks.
Don't you love yourself as well?
You are hungry and too thin;
Keep some grains your maw to quell.

Noble you are; that is great.
Should the noble fast and die?
What is life without good traits?
It will turn to hateful sty.

I would like the human beings
to observe what birds can do,
and to take rifles from men
to increase this noble view.
