Dec 2020
I closed my eyes but sleep wouldn't come
Twisted thoughts of yesteryears
Making you smile making you cry
Laughter becomes sobbing so quickly
Morning brings about no change at all
Reality sinks deeper in your heart
Memories seem to burden my load
The weight of which is crippling
I knew this time would one day come
But selfishly I wanted more
