Living with people
You at first, get along with
You all love the same colour
Yellow
And you all have many tales to tell
Of personal experiences
With yellow
Be it paint
Pencils
Clothes
Lemons
Melons
Bananas
...............Submarines!
All seems mellow, with yellow
At first
After a while-the honeymoon period
Gone is the smile
You start noticing
How some of the others
In this yellow group
Prefer a paler
Or more profound
Different shade
Some even prefer their bananas
Green!
Or ripe brown
Then you start to realise
That you no longer share the same values
And apart from yellow
You had nothing else in common
At all
And start to see
Red!
