Walking through puddles isn’t as easy
as hopping over them
But sometimes you have to get your feet wet
So you can feel what’s real

And let it stay with you until it dries off

But puddles fade then come back in a cycle

Some Days you feel the water build up in your boots
Other days you step over water
Ignoring it,
avoiding
