I lodge on the twig, as i digest my hearty meal, the mulberry leaves. They call me grumpy, coz am a grub. They call me wobbly and fat, the maggot that i am.
Birds wish me for their dinner, Ladies screech and ***** at my sight, You touch me and i burn, Am hated and my life seems blink. Hairy caterpillar i am.
Of late a drowsiness without course, Has been sneaking up on me, My nightmares that I had, Have been overtaken by bright dreams.
As i dozed in my week sleep, a change occurred. I woke up winged, no longer ******. My round waist replaced by a figure 8 Am a dazzle am a darling, butterfly.
Am now attracted to lilly flowers, no longer yearning leaves. High up in the sky i tower, Among the beauty i sleep. Damsels wish to be called with me, My spines replaced by fragrance.
I wake each day my horror is, this may be fake, But to my joy to discover my beauty is to remain. Am know a butterfly!
