Legend has it that Mars and Earth were once a single planet...
Born when the universe was created...
Gravity and the universe did their part...
And the two inseparable friends grew apart...
Moving fast and erratically throughout the universe...
They did not see each other for millions of years...
And they had lost hope of seeing each other again...
Nature acts in mysterious ways...
The same nature that separated them...
Brought them together again once the solar system was created...
Mars was so happy to see Earth again...
He carved a moon out of his own mountains...
And sent it to orbit the Earth...
So that  Earth would not feel alone...
No one knows if this legend is true or not...
The truth is that today I am sending you this poem...
In the same way that the legend says that Mars sent a Moon to Earth...
Because poetry is in itself a universe...
Where each poem is a World...
