Velvet highways are extended out
The road looks treacherous in the dark
Through night's demons and doubt,
Burning dancers try and make their mark.
I am following the light,
That is drowning in the night.
Oh, where will you be,
At the end of destiny?
Ivory street lamps sear through night's tar
The falling horizon is still young
Lucid owls preaching in the marsh
"Daylight's song has yet to be sung"
So keep following the light
That is drowning in the night
Oh, here waiting will I be
At the end of destiny
