If I wrote you a letter...
If I wrote you a letter
and buried it in my yard
would you know where to look
if I died from these scars?
You see, the thing is,
I want you to know exactly
how I feel, but you don't want to know
that this feeling is real.
You leave me here clinging
onto all this false hope,
praying that one day you
may realize why I'm still afloat.
I'm waiting for this moment
with every last inch of my being,
my love, if you would please just
come around to believing.
So I'll leave you this letter,
in hopes that you'll find it,
under the flowers, covered in soil,
right next to where I'm dying.
