watching as the sun begins to set, all of time comes to an end, at least in the hours before sunset and dawn i can still see you, no matter where i look, from the clouds that pass by i see something to remind, or the people that pass me in a crowd, having you as a frame of reference, i find myself wanting to reach for, or call out your name yet i know its all for not, steadfast, i watch as the fire place embers begin to lose their warmth, your picture poised on a table by my chair, reflecting in the quiet stillness i think back to a time when a life, as i knew it before- would be my constant, remaining steady, uninterrupted
