i
don't
have
a
steady
job
but
my
expenses
are
low,
you
could
say
that
i've
been
blessed
with
all of
what
i've
got
and
all
of
what
i know.

i
like
the
clothes
on
my
back
and
i
have
a nice
place
to live,
i've
got
friends
who
love
me,
because
you
see,
i get
as
good
as
i give,
ah- huh,
yes,
all
of
my
needs
are met,
and
it's
all
because
i
give
just
as
good
as i get.

i like
my
music
and
i like
my
wine,
i know
everything
will
work
out
alright,
whether
it's
pouring
rain,
or
the
weather
is fine,
i
will
be
leaving
all of
my
lonesome
troubles
oh
so
far
behind.

when
the
sun
goes
down
and
i am
ready
to rest,
i
call
out
for
my
baby
because
i know
that
she
will
give
me
her best.
oh yes,
my
baby
can be
a sweet
little thing,
she's a
real
free spirit
don't you know,
when
i call her
'sweetheart'
she
doesn't
crack
a smile,
and
'honey'
don't work
for
anything
anyhow.
when
i call
her
'babydoll'
it
doesn't
raise
the
roof,
but
when
she
calls
me
'god',
oh
my
'god',
that's
when
i get
my
proof.
