WAS THAT HIS AIM?
He did not care for wealth or gold
but did not find a thing around
that could bring him on his sad face
a happy look, a taste of peace.

He started gathering not convinced,
but money could uphold his crest.
It got his pleasure and his aim
as it conferred on him a name.

So big was his house and quite full
of best furniture that was cool,
but when he died his house was closed
with none to weep for who reposed.
