You slapped me in the face
All because I was there at the wrong time
I was there, at the wrong place
You kicked me while I was down
All because I was younger and naive
You told me lies, only because you know I’d believe
Everything and anything you’d ever say to me
You pushed me while I wasn’t looking
All because you couldn’t stand to see me cry
You’re the reason I wanted to die
But things have changed and now I’m grown
I can handle things on my own
Being without you or around you
Has made me open my eyes
To a world full of love, and no more lies
No more hurt, no more pain
You can no longer throw shade at my name
You never cared, you never shared
You just wanted another piece to your abusive game
I don’t stand for bullying, or abuse
So let these words help you, become a better you
If you don’t try to change, then what’s the use
You’ll forever be a bully,
and I'll forever be a survivor.
