I wished for you
To make me smile
I sat and waited
Thought for a while

You were on my street
I was pulling weeds
You stomp on my yard
I laugh and my dog barked
You made me smile

We run to the trees
Playing hide and seek
Birds chirping in harmony
Our hearts a symphony
You looked back, eyes wild
You made me smile

Twenty years later
Our love is only greater
Our memories still hatch
With you I still laugh
Knocking on heavens door
My hand is holding yours
And together, we'll be smiling
