Blind.

stop being fooled by what seems to be there

dig deep and look into my eyes

you claim to know me

but are blind to the sadness

that I hide behind my smile

you knew of my problem

that included making art

on a canvas

that is my skin

the dark was gone

but slowly crept its way back

engulfing the light that you offered

thank you for saving me

but no one can save me

now that there is no light left

to find me in this dark room
