The Truth
Just trying to achieve His favor
With fervor I pursue, when I get there stay there
Can I find Him in the pew, fine I won’t stay there
How can I hold hands now with the Truth-Jesus? This ain’t fair
I focus on my heart and take care
Do I keep good company like I take shares?
How do I keep myself while I break theirs?
Fast like pace players, pray up like a raked stare
Like 8 hairs, I want the naked Truth
Aloof, hell, if He can help it Satan ain’t taken you
A hoof, like a shoe, the beast ain’t raising youth
Hell no, he takes them, breaks them-slick no shade of clue
Slave to sin for years yet we’re not paid in full-we’re paid in few
Meant to be beautiful but you’re cut, you’re laid with grooves
Improv and improve to prove, you can’t even make it from a to b because you’re dying inside while no ones seeing you
Rise and shine though because you’re proof. The bs is see-through and He’ll see you through
