Your chorus of cheers,
Is a gift to the ears,
In a tug of war.
And you may feel a drift,
To feel life's not a gift,
In a tug of war.

Look at the ones you meet,
Out and about on the street.
They are light on their feet,
You are white like a sheet.
And there is nothing to it when you realise,
There is something going on there behind your eyes.

Need not act like a man,
It will all to plan,
In a tug of war.
When you work in a team,
You can act on your dream,
In a tug of war.

And if you still feel hurt, lying covered in dirt,
Dust it all off your skirt, get right out there and flirt.
Now this is where you fit, on this throne you will sit,
When you have finally won that tug of war.

And if you still feel hurt, lying covered in dirt,
Dust it all off your skirt, get right out there and flirt.
Now this is where you fit, on this throne you will sit,
When you have finally won that tug of war.
