When I find myself weak in life,
Lord, give me the strength that I need;
Lord, give me your guiding wisdom,
This request, of you, Lord, I plead.

The good in others,  help me see,
A lack of love I can't afford;
To you help me be attentive,
When you speak, help me listen, Lord.

Be with me when I'm tempted, Lord,
Help me live as you want me to;
Lord, help me strive for holiness,
To you, Lord, help me to stay true.

For heaven, Lord, help me to strive,
So when I die, there, I'll arrive.
