That nudiustertian morning
(The day before last)
You put forth the effort
And stayed true to task
You were aware of the dangers
That no others could grasp
Yet you fought, though outnumbered
By taking a stance
From a cruel hearted world
Given chance after chance
Moving onwards and upwards
As we try and advance
Through our own secret battles
But only at first glance
