Don't you dare
Come in here
And act like everything never happened

Don't look at me
Like you never shredded my heart to pieces
And don't pretend that you don't know.

I loved you until the room fell silent
The only noise in the background
Was the ceiling fan whirling

You hated me until the room became crowded
The only noticeable noise in the background
Was bickering between girls

So don't you dare

Try to pretend that I never existed,
Because you can't live with hurting me.
