We sigh and say,
"I hope that happens someday."

But I want to know,
How will it show?
When is "someday,"
Going to be today?

And when "someday" finally arrives,
Will I know that "someday" has come?
Will I realize that it is now?

Or will hindsight only tell,
Of how that day,
That "someday"
Was today?
