The Genius rarely speaks
but when he does he is heard
For such wisdom and beauty
is possessed in each word

His mind a golden ocean
Vast
Still
& Pure
His voice mesmerizing
pain and sorrow it shall cure

His judgement will find reason
with time and matter they become
His spirit will live on
even when the clock has had its run

And the world shifts so fast
everyone pushing each other along
But with you not a second seems wasted,
only remembered never gone

Enlightened by spoken thoughts
visions wild through my head
"We cannot make the world more real,
only more vivid" he said

Like city lights blinding each star
You're picturesque in such a sense
Like a lighthouse lit from afar
That such love shall only commence
Like a wave ebbed from shore
In a dream too far intense
Like a promise that is no more
The dreamer builds a fence
